Well… I am a magpie of sorts.. Picking up all manner of curious things.. Here’s a tailor’s dummy from the turn of the last Century! I know that it’s French because it’s covered in French newspaper. And what’s intriguing is the shape.. the minuscule waist contrasted against the full bosom and well rounded hips..Fashion trends come.. and go, like waves on the shore. This was the ‘ideal’ aesthetic of a women’s body shape over 100 years ago..
